2 projects cooking Things are getting too muddled up in the Nighthawk and the light of day thread... Better give the Honda CX650 it's own Progress will be rather slow. First in, first out. The Nighthawk showed up first (but had some standstills before) I picked this project up from a guy that kept it in a spare room in his 4th story appartment. His new girlfriend liked it as a proper room better. Build at least 7 bikes before. Clearly parted with it with hartache Said it had good compression and he had already put pod filters on, put a new swing arm on and relocated the ignition. This is how it first caught my attention on the Dutch version of Craiglist.
nuggets - I had to laugh. Especially with your thread. I didn't know this was Foxed's until I got done posting another new thread in my shop. Sorry. Foxed101 - So, are you go all out WayLong on us? Kind of digging the CX's the more I look at them...
Spring is in the air Even threads have offspring now All out WayLongWay? I think my plans tend to have WayLongWayian proportions. But me not so smart Good thing WLW advises me on practicality and feasability And I certainly lack the skills WLW has.
The forks and wheels were swapped with the Nighthawk The gastank is of a Honda VTR 250. Stumbled upon a picture on my wreckers site and thought it could compliment the looks of the cylinders Picked up a Suzuki GT380 seat cheap. That might get cut up and used. Weighs a ton though But not nearly as much as the alternative seat-'o-log
That obvious eh? I was so careful in phrasing the question... Still couldn't dodge that bullet... Didn't expect you to be the gunman though JB
Although I hate the way you ride a scooter (nothing to control between your knees) I hand it to the girl, she has nice brake and grip control. MX style: 2 fingers on it My driving school owner will hate me for this remark. "Quit it boy! You'll lose your fingers in a crash!"
@Beezer just took the crown of ideas on a grand scale What he posted in WLW's thread is so far beyond my skill set and comfort zone... Would never have thought of that. Hats off to you Beezer!
Resolutions and good intentions... To quote myself when Sean suggested getting a chainsaw to cut that piece of wood up good... Allready succumbed to the power of electricany
Appriciate the kind whippin' I cut my teeth on a nasty tree trunk in the front yard. Just to get a feel what this puppy does. (Needs more chainsaw though) Need to get the gastank and seat from my dads place next. Would be a shame if the seatpan would look decent in it's own right. But not flow with the tank and seat
Building is on my mind But fysical injury prohibits actually doing stuff... So I imagine The Log-o-Seat could have been good, but went bad So what could the seat look like if I started with a blank canvas and do it out of sheet metal? What you can draw is not always what you can make Let’s see if I can make this out of paper
