It's this exact Chinese deflector. There are many different Sellers on Ebay selling the same type

When you were at the Imarui lake, you were just east of the Mirante da Serra do Rio do Rastro. The road up (390) is worth the trip, I'd say, if you are able. Careful, though....Some of the road never sees the sun, so can be quite slippery on the hairpins.

Yeah that would be a trip of several days. I’ve been told of that road and areas. Maybe in the future.
    Just paid for July’s rent.

Any businesses in town in need of translation to English service? Eventually borders will open back up and folks everywhere are eager to roam.
    Just a thought.

I think my Portuguese would need to be better. But I haven’t checked really. This is barely a town. More a seafront resort strip.

Interesting, there is a multi-track motor race track a bit West of you.
Doesn't mean or suggest anything, I just like motorsports.

Any thought to putting down a rough outline on a book? Might make for a good way to pass your time.

Looks like he is still ok. From fb:

Hey everyone. A crazy “bomb cyclone” hit our area yesterday late afternoon.
My ears popped due to the sudden air pressure change. Stuff flying everywhere.
Power is still out as is wifi. Using a little data to let folks wondering that I’m ok. Pousada Dona Emma is OK. There were deaths In Itapema I heard.
    Ok. Turning data back off.

Power and wifi are still out in my section of town. And my data plan on the phone had run out, even if the phone had a charge, which it did not.
So I’m at the corner coffee shop. They charged the phone and have wifi. I put some more back up data on the phone, but will mostly be offline until power is restored. Multiple poles and lines down in my street alone. Maybe Domingo?
They’re calling this cyclone a 100 year storm.
    Perfect timing!

Cicadas swarming in USA, Ebola virus returned and locusts swarming in Africa, Rattlesnakes have tripled in numbers this year, and Royal Enfield is now producing quality bikes, and we had a solar eclipse on the Solstice.
The whole galaxy is going nuts.
