Can you buy an electric blanket or mattress pad?
I’ve got enough blankets to sleep soundly Jay. It’s getting up to pee, or climbing out in the morning that’s hard lol.
On other fronts, Olaf stopped by this morning to pick up the last of his things. We chatted for a second and he was gone. Tchau Olaf!
On ADVs front page Paul Stewart describes a cool ride record app called Relive. So I’m trying the free version on my next short ride. Maybe in a few days for groceries.
For today, used it to track a walk to the beach
I would think a friendly lady might be a better solution.
That is pretty cool app. Nice pics and good to see the layout of the area you went to.
That costs a LOT more! And Dan is low on funds!
Not to mention the high maintenance costs.
Forgot to ask if you put in the music track for the short video on that app?
No, the free version only allows two choices. No music or one track that they supply.
If you pay for the “Club” version you get many more tracks to select from, but you cannot import your own music.
If you get the pay version you can also add more pictures, video clips and details. Also the video is in HD for the pay version (SD for free).

Had there been more forethought, there would have been a slice hard boiled egg in there. I have eggs. Damn lol.
Pretty much out of meat save another pieto de frango. No need to rush to the market though. Several cans of tuna. Pasta. Sauce. Hmmmm
Beans, rice. One more apple.
Then again, Emma’s meals coming every day.
What’s today? Friday?
Let’s see if I can hold off groceries until Monday. The store will be more crowded on the weekend anyways. I have bread cheese and soup....that’s a meal. A few carrots left too.
Plenty of fresh ground coffee. Milk I’m good.
I also have the ingredients for microwave cake.....no. Begone evil sugar demons. Back to your sugary lairs. I will not succumb.
Ahhh. You’re all witness to my mental decline as I contemplate food supplies while performing inventory.
In the motorcycle front, the local shop ended up not having my brake pads in stock after all. Luis ordered them through Mercado Livre and they should be here in a week or so.
Not like I’m in a hurry.
I find it interesting how situational changes, desired or not, can change our normal thought processes in ways we would never expect, even if we were told ahead of time what was going to happen to us. Your thought processes still seem to be in the range of sane to me. But then how rational am I?
Same thought process here. Not sure about the sane part. But if you are normal during these circumstances, then you are insane.
oh, and I had rice and beans for dinner.
As transparent as I may seem GG, I’m holding back big time. No one needs to hear about some things lol.
Just a few minutes ago, watching a late Cleveland baseball game, I yelled at the tablet because of a call. I realized it was the first time I had heard myself say something aloud in English today. In fact other than a few words with Olaf when he came by and woke me up yesterday morning, I haven’t really talked to someone in English in quite a while.
What a strange dichotomy.
While things are quite comfortable, things are far from feeling secure, or normal. And “normal” being defined as leaving it all behind to travel on your motorcycle.
With only 60 games for this season, this 4-gamer between Cleveland and Minnesota (my home town team) is a big deal. Two good games so far. Cleveland really has a great pitching staff this year. The Twins are a hard batting lineup to figure out. Besides Nelson Cruz, who seems to hit everything, all the other hitters take turns getting the big hits every game. None of the names are particularly scary. Then you look up and see we've plated ten runs again. We're scoring a lot again this year. It should be enough to get into the playoffs and get owned by the Yankees or the Cheaters, I mean, Astros. I enjoy the Cleveland-Minnesota matchups. They're always a ton of fun. We'll know in about a week if we'll actually get to finish this season.
That was great. Who’d thought waves would be that interesting. Excellent music too.
Idly wondering if there might be any folks in your area that would like to learn/practice conversational Ameri-English.
Just a thought. I know you are wanting to stay under the radar.
