Big congrats! Sometimes good guys win.

One thing though in regarads to: "Lately have eaten a large amount of chocolate. I know it’s bad."

Allow me to enable that habit: https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/7-health-benefits-dark-chocolate#section1

In addition to living vicariously through others' adventures, we can use the internets to justify just about anything. ;)

Congrats again and I hope you do find a way to keep on rollin'.

These are Guanaco, related to llamas. They run wild all over the Patagonia region. Their meat is used all over for various dishes as well

This is a Rhea. They are all over and related to the Emu.

They cannot fly, but, like the road runner, are fast as hell.

    Our arrival in Ushuaia!

After all these months and all these miles it feels fantastic to finally get to this place. The place I've dreamed of reaching.

I know I uttered these words on that short video yesterday, but to all of those following along both here and on my FB page, I have nothing but love for you all. Knowing a few have used my trip as inspiration for future travels of their own, I'm honored. To those that just liked my photos and put up with my dialog, many thanks to you as well! Now that I'm here, and have enough funds for another 200 days travel (at budget), I plan on keeping this ride going as long as I can, heading north this time. What the future holds for me once I'm on empty, I have no idea.

But I'm pretty sure it'll involve more life on the road. It's in my blood now, and I'm not keen to see a Doctor concerning this internal disorder lol.

Wow...get distracted for a few days, and look what happens; Dan makes it to Ushuaia!!

Super stoked for you Dan! Once again, thank you for introducing me to places I'd never even dreamed of before, and revealing the amazing people who live there!

Just think what cool stuff awaits you (and us, in proxy!) in the coming months! I shall continue to follow and find out. :-)

Those S curves going down the mountain from the overlook between Coyhaique and Ushuaia, I know that spot! I badly bent the front rim when I smacked a rock close to there. Borrowed a mall, not a hammer, at our next stop and convinced it to make a circle again. That's why we use spoke wheels!

Enjoy Ushuaia. Great place for a several day break.

Myself and my wife have enjoyed your entire journey from the start. We read it together every day and like the perspective you bring from your travels. Thanks for the epic ride. And we're really looking forward to the ride north, especially Brazil.
