I was recommended watermelon when medicine was binding me up. It worked. I'd toss chunks into a blender and drink copious amounts.

I was able to score us a killer Thanksgiving meal today from the only place open & its a food truck.
    Wowzers this is tasty.
Sweet potatoes stuffed with Turkey, Dressing, Gravy, Green beans, fried onion & chives.
I ordered the Dragon Fruit sprite drink & Dan the Peach Sweet Tea. 20201126_112601.jpg 20201126_113052.jpg 20201126_101132.jpg

I like Kerrville, that is one if our stops from California to Acapulco in the car. I think it would it be a bad place to live.

*Edit* So sorry to hear about your leg, heal up soon.

Jay’s Mother visited today, and brought us a ton of comfort food to get us by!
Ham/potatoe casserole, made from scratch cinnamon rolls, Bundt cake, turkey slices, drinks and ice cream and brownies!!
Thank you for the kindness and thank you for raising such an awesome son.
    Now time to feast!!

Glad you had some company, Dan. That's got to be a lonely life you're leading right now.

    Like I said, comfort food.
Jay made me a plate with casserole (unreal), turkey and mixed veggies. That filled me up but I managed to squeeze in a cinnamon roll.

Get well my friend.. See you soon. When you write your book I want an autographed copy!
Glad the surgery went well as it can get, can't wait to hear what tones we get on your leg low tones or high tones?
All joking aside. A very strange year, just when I wrote off the entire year I had a misfortunate situation and still recovering as well. I went through your entire adventure post again and it will make for a good read one day..

@SupRBeeADV you are one hell of a good man. Thanks for being good people.

Dan I hope the pain and swelling is improving. As I'm laid up with a broken leg myself I started this thread at page 1 a few days ago as it hadn't hit my radar. Its been like binge watching a mini-series, now at page 102 (don't ruin the ending lol :D). As many have said thanks for documenting your journey, your writing and pictures are great. Love your travel style, not just pile'ing on miles but taking things in vs. passing through. While Ushuaia may never be in my future I'm inspired to make some more plans, then do it and see more places. Thank you.
