Great Point. :clap Thank you for mentioning it. We don't want anyone purchasing products that they can not use.

    Thank You for this feedback.
The 1190 uses the H11 so none have been installed yet.
Its Odd that the BMW is working fine but the KTM appears to be an issue, To my knowledge you are the first install in a canbus KTM.
Maybe I can get my friends down at the local KTM dealer to let me check one out. Hopefully we can figure something out.

Feel free to return the bulb

I wish we could offer better shipping rates. Unfortunately we can not control USPS prices.

Hi Off Road Ryder, is anyone selling these bulbs of yours south of the border (Mexico)?

Just got my H4 for the 990 the other day and installed...or rather, tried to install last night.

Question, will I be able to get the rubber boot back on or is it meant to be left open at the back? We ride through a lot of water round these parts and that part of the bike definitely gets wet from time to time...has this been an issue for anyone?

At this point, unless Im missing something here, Im pulling the connectors out of the plastic plug housing and heat shrinking each wire individually in hopes of being able to get that rubber boot back on.

Does anyon have pics of the H4 installed on the 990 from the back? I'd like to see what the end result is supposed to look like.

Other than that, its BRIGHT! My jerk buddy flipped the switch while was looking right at the thing....couldn't see straight for about 5-10 minutes!:lol3

Water will not affect the bulb. If you need to remove the terminal holder the terminals come out of the H4 retainer very easily by using a small screwdriver or pick in the slot next to the terminal.
Push the tang on the terminal and pull back on the wire, there would be no need to reshrink wrap anything.

You should be able to get the boot back on, although you may need to slightly modify it if you don't want to remove the terminals from the retainer in order to fit them threw the hole. A slice in the boot at the wire inlet will take care of that.

I fit the cover back on intact and unmodified on my 950 headlight, same as 990.
The R2 (latest) version is slightly smaller than the original that this thread started with.

We temporarily are out of stock again on the H4's
nearly 500 units gone in two weeks:clap

    H7's are in stock
We will be shipping again next week, however we padded the date on the site a bit just in case there are any issues.
Thanks to all you for helping make this product a success!

Anyone have any experience with this in an R1100R? Fit right in or any adjusting/modding necessary?

I was swapping out my Trail Tech X2 for a new/original Husky headlight which is capable of running a 9007 halogen bulb, but I'd like to try one of these LED bulbs. I'll be anticipating this when you do get it out.

Any luck tracking down an 08+ KLR to play with? I have not gotten around to grinding down my housing for the install yet and am still hoping for an alternative....

Ya Im pretty sure, These are made in Korea under our specific specifications and QA processes.
    .
We will see all types of led bulbs that may or may not look like what we offer, just like in LED aux lights, just because it looks like a duck does not mean its a duck.
Clearly quality, light output and customer service is not for you.

    Please go troll elsewhere.

Here is a great example of why many companies shy away from forum interaction.

We are looking at a new design that should have a bit more space between the fan shroud and base plate, specifically for the KLR
We are also attempting to find a local customer and see if we can make a adaptor plate for the existing bulb in the KLR

    Thanks.
The H11 and KLR H7 are priority right now, 9007 is coming but still a ways off.
Most Husky headlights that I am aware of use the Ba20 bulb or H4
we do have a base that can work with either.
