Nice pics RockyDS! I was checking to see about t-shirts and noticed your photos before seeing that it was you who'd posted them. Your poker run photos looked familiar - like I was there at around the same time... and it was then that I discovered they were your pics.

I rode TOW Hwy on my way from Tok to Dawson for the D2D but didn't take the time to check out what the guy in the chicken suit was doing on the side of the road in Chicken, AK. After arriving in Dawson and seeing some Chicken/D2D t-shirts I stopped to ask and realized that maybe I should have slowed down to see what the chicken guy was all about.

Does anyone know if those t-shirts are still available? ...and if so, whom to contact to purchase one?

I am going to Chicken tomorrow afternoon to celebrate the 4th of July with Susan and my Amarican friends. Susan had those shirts made and I will find out how you can get one. I will limp home Sunday morning.

Thanks again Dick!...For letting me store my bike at your place till I gat back up with a trailer. I left something there with your better half after I loaded my bike and Virgils camping gear up. Hope you enjoyed....

Thanks everyone for a great D2D! I got back to NY a couple days ago safely. Here's hoping I can make the trip up again next year:)

Have not been to the D2D in many years. Want to go in 2016. Anyone have the dates yet, the hotel where the event will be in 2016, and the proper AdvRider link to the 2016 D2D general info and sign up page? If not yet, when might this info become available?

D2D events are currently scheduled for Friday June 17th... Riders start arriving at their leisure a couple days in advance and leave at their leisure a couple days after. This is your vacation, you get to set the tempo... The Triple J Hotel in dawson is where the action has been for the last 2 years and will be this coming year also. The 2016 D2D info and signup threads will be posted in this, the Alaska thread at a later date... don't worry, you're spot will still be available! LOL

I'll post the sign-up and info threads in January. If you want to guarantee a slot then send me a cashier's check for $500, and slip dapman a few bucks as well.

Last time I did that they turned me back at the border. Said it was because of a message from guy that signed it KH. Send me the refund that you promised.

I am planning a group ride of veteran's to Dawson City and possible Arctic Circle at about same time as your non-rally D2D. I was at the 2012 event on my f650gs and had a good time. This time though we will all be on cruisers. I was wondering if we would be welcome to join in on the festivities in 2016?
