You need to know that The Dick loves fine French wines and has feelings as delicate as butterfly wings.

Just signed up! Will be a long ride for me:evil All the way from Whitehorse
Have lived up here for 22years but have never made it to D2D. Haven't been to Dawson for years! Having an extremely seasonal business really curtails summertime Yukon riding.
I think this years the year:clap
Hey Dick, need any help in the weeks leading up? I may be able to in late May-early June

I think so, Tok at least. We figured we would like to have some rubber left when we get to Dawson.

Awe come on, Shinko 244's are cheap and they last pretty good. Remember My XR600 made it for 2 years to D2D on a set.

Starting from Prince of Wales Island, I'll be taking the Inter-island ferry to Ketchikan and then the AMH to Skagway, arriving on the 15th. The plan is to go up through Whitehorse to D2D and back by the Top of the World... down to Haines on the 25th. Anybody else from the Southeast heading that way? It would be nice to hook up for all or part.

So I blew my knee out and tore my ACL the other day. Surgery in a couple of weeks. Don't think I'll be in shape to ride this year so if anyone has a vehicle that needs to go up let me know. It's still early to try to salvage the trip but I'm hoping too.

That's a bummer for sure. Sorry to hear of it. My son did the same thing last year....NOT the quickest injury to heal from, even when you are young. Hopefully you are up and about soon enough.

I've got a room with 2 beds reserved for Thursday and Friday night at the 5th Ave B&B and my scheduled riding buddy/roommate MIGHT not be able to make it this year. If anyone is looking for a nice place to stay (with an awesome home cooked to order breakfast) not too far away from all the activity at the Triple J, drop me a PM.

Might see if Fast Eddie needs a place. He might be coming up if he can find a way to get his little Kawi up from Sun Dawg.

I'm still on the fence with them. I used one for the last couple of years and used it on the long way up in '13. Since I won't be riding, you can borrow it and try it out.

5th Ave. B&B is half way between Dick's garage and the Triple J, great location and very nice people.
