Are you going this year Tom? My oldest (whom you've met) is graduating high school and we're hoping to finally make the trip together. Her XT225 has a leaking cylinder base gasket and I just ordered the parts today - so there's a chance she'll be taking either the Virago or the DR.

Nope. Couldn’t go even if I wanted to. Something else happening then.
Yeah, first time I think she was about 12. I liked her answer when I ask her if she wanted her own motorcycle. “I want an airplane.” :thumb

snowwalt.... stop incorrectly adding your name to the sign-up roster. Are you emotionally tied to #141 to the point that you have to screw up the thread?

Stay calm KHuddy, all this will pass for another year in a couple of weeks. Maybe it is having a university education that screws people up?

    This......

"IF YOU SCREW-UP YOUR POST AND NEED ASSISTANCE, THEN DELETE YOUR POST AND PM KHuddy AND HE WILL ASSIST YOU. IF YOU LEAVE YOUR SCREWED-UP POST ON THE THREAD, THEN YOU WILL BE ADDED TO THE ROSTER OF SHAME"

Signed up, first time in 5 years it's looking like I'm gonna get a hall pass and be able to make the ride assuming I can get my work taken care of on Wednesday and nothing falls apart at home. :D

Here's a heads up: make sure your tags are current. :lol3 Going through my camping stuff and such tonight, I found out that my registration expired in July 2016.:muutt:doh Glad I have to go to the DMV for a new license anyway... that would have been fun riding in to Canada.

If your bike's old enough, get the "Z" tag, and you'll never have to worry about that again. Provided you intend to hang on to it for a while.

Bummer! I hope she heals up quick and I'll toss a few rocks on a corner or two in your honor this year.
