That's exactly what all his ex-wives say too!!! LOL
Beware World, the new Dick and the new KHuddy, are you really ready? You have seen right, left, black, white, and LGTBQ+ but you have yet to witness the New Dick and the New KHuddy! Strap on your boots and googles and be very, very aware!
I was at D2D in 2010 from El Paso, Texas. There was a campground in Dawson and I was wondering if it is still there and if anyone has contact information. Thanks!
and other options:
Pat and Dianne, the operators are away during the winter but monitor their web and so as Mr Huddy has identified, go to their web site and send them an email. They are extremely D2D friendly and accommodating. Pat likes to spend the winter practicing his golf game so he can attempt to kick my ass all summer!
Be very afraid, nobody says "Thanks" to a Dick!
Question for recent Dempsterites! Is the Gas station still open at the intersection of Hwy 2 and the Dempster? I heard the gift shop burned down but wondering if you can still fill up on gas there? Thanks!
all facilities burned down. New dealer set up with card lock. Don't think premium is available but no problem otherwise. I have a private card with them so never a problem, they accept all major credit cards, the process is of course not totally user friendly but works just fine. The company is AFD Petroleum Products.
BLOVIATE??? Is that even allowed on this forum?
My gosh, it's certainly gone downhill in the past few years.
Okay... who posted that drivel? Where is Kevin? I mean the real KHud! The mean, nasty, no nonsense KHud that we've all come to love... er, tolerate.
I stopped in last year to top off on the way to Eagle Plains and couldn't get the card lock to work. So just kept on riding because I had a spare 1.5 gal rotopax with me.
As I posted, not entirely fool proof and guaranteed. I think you need to have a major recognized CC and have used it to make sure it works in Canadar at various businesses. Did I say that I likely have at least a dozen small gas containers free for the taking and dropping off, keeping or whatever.
Seeing reports that they are closing the border between the US and Canada. They will allow commercial traffic hauling goods but not recreational traffic. Hopefully it will be short lived.
Hopefully by then some semblance of normality will return.
We are currently monitoring the border/travel issues... I have been in touch with the Triple J, and am waiting to hear back from them. We will keep all informed as we learn more... Drink lots of alcohol, anything over 60% is supposed to do! LOL
I talked to Triple J as well and they were optimistically hoping for the best, meaning we all come over....
I’m getting a meeting scheduled with Justin and Don to get this straightened out. Should have things settled in the next few weeks.
I can’t believe you said “short lived”...
