and how exactly have they done in the playoffs all those years? Regular season means nothing. Big money players typically are more trouble than they are worth. Have fun crying into your beer in January.

You aren’t going to do shit in the playoffs if you don’t first make the playoffs.

As a long time resident of the metroplex but not originally from here I have to say they are much more entertaining when they are bad. I hope Jerrah remains GM forever :lol3. Signed lifelong disappointed Chefs fan.

The Cowboys have had the most raw talent in the NFC East for the last 10 years. What has it gotten them? It will continue with Jerry Jones and Jason Garrett at the helm.

No, they haven’t. They’ve had stars but no depth due to bad cap management. Those days are apparently over. I’d say the eagles had better overall talent in 17 than Dallas did. Of course they put themselves in cap purgatory to do so, but they won a title.....so congratulations to them.

Interesting cherry-picked stat. If he's so darn good, why are they even tied in the 4th?

Since he's so great, why aren't they ahead going into the 4th and simply win the game without necessitating a come-from-behind surge?

It’s just a stat. It indicates Dak is at his best when the games on the line. The number of times it’s been necessary isn’t a factor in that rating.

His time is likely done as far as being a real offensive weapon, but it's good to have his reliability back. Cowboys can't seem to draft his replacement, or develop one.

He's always been a positive influence in the locker room.

I think he should have gone into coaching instead of chasing tv money.

Yeah not really sure why he's doing it, there's no chance of getting a ring and just taking more of a beating on his body but it's his choice.

You hit the nail right on the head that he will be a great leader as soon as he gets in that locker room which I think they were probably missing, maybe this is his way of transitioning into coaching.

He read all those Dak stats and could not help himself.

And he did not leave the game playing poorly.

Still big and strong, no worries.

    393ABFB3-9062-472B-8A3C-C9DAA3C23DE6.png Completion percentage over expectations - @Moo12152
This builds on a recent article by Josh Hermsmeyer of The Ringer, in which Hermsmeyer looked at target-depth-adjusted completion percentage. In the table below, Moo12152 looks at Completion Percentage over Expectation (CPOE) based on the depth-adjusted completion percentage for 49 QBs with t least 1,500 since 2009. If you’re looking for Dak Prescott on the list, start at the bottom and work your way up.

The nfl is a production driven league so short of killing a person and going to prison if you win games they dont care.

Sign Zeke and Cowboys compete for the division title with the Eagles and possibly make a strong playoff run. No Zeke = no playoffs or one and done.

Considering all his off the field issues, the team probably figures he should take what he’s offered. Zeke will stay away from the boredom of camp and show up when ( or if) he feels like it.
Methinks the big NBA contracts last month have some players seeing dollar signs (I’m talking to you Melvin Gordon)
