They let an nfl rushing champion sign with a rival a few years ago. I think they feel that Tony Pollard can get the job done for them and with Kellen Moore as the new OC they’re looking deeper into analytics concerning the relative value of running backs. They have so much defensive talent right now they’re going to have to cut some pretty good players. This team is loaded.
That's your interpretation of what the stat indicates. It could also indicate that the teams that they are tied with are exhausted and dont have the talent depth to stop anyone at the end of a very long game. Some Dak fanboy had to really reach to come up with a stat like that.
It probably means their former OC liked to play too conservatively until they had no choice but to open it up in the fourth quarter.
Are the dire predictions just from the hate or do you guys really believe they'll go 4-12? Or even 8-8?
“I’m really, really excited about this season. Five years ago this team was in cap hell, had jettisoned off DeMarcus Ware and Jason Hatcher and everyone thought the team would flounder. Since then they’ve won three division titles, advanced to the final eight three times, compiled one of the better records in the league and did so while transitioning from a Ring of Honor QB and creating a flexible cap situation that allows them to retain the young talent on the roster.”
Yeah, that is almost as impressive as what Belichick has done over the last 18 years. Only, they have not won one super bowl since the wise one put JJ on the street. I would not expect much until the team is sold. He has a tendency to shoot himself with the arrow. Odd tendency for a cowboy.
