I've been a Cowboys fan since the Meredith days. I believe that I'm the only reasonable/realistic Cowboys fan left. I do not demand a Super Bowl. I'm perfectly happy with division championships and playoff appearances. I consider that an incredible accomplishment considering the way the team is run. As long as Jones keeps his thumb on the coach, a Super Bowl will be a fluke rather than a regular occurrence.

I believe that if Elliott can stay out of trouble (a big if), another division championship is theirs this year.

Ahhhh! You're a new fan! Welcome! Eddie LeBaron was a great quarterback that taught Meredith everything he knew! :lol3

I'm old enough to have seen Eddie play when Cowboys played at the Cotton Bowl.

Nice debut for Kellen Moore as Cowboy's newest OC.

There was one quarterback today who passed for over 400 yds, 4 touchdowns, 0 interceptions and a perfect quarterback rating.

New England gets to play Miami, Buffalo and the Jets twice a year. You’ve got no room to talk about trips to the pastry shop.

Yup. You can't believe how relaxing it is to know that you have the division wrapped up and the Championship in your sights before the season even begins.

Miami is always a problem, no matter how awful they may be against everyone else.

I'm a lifetime Dallas fan but I used to work with one of those unrealistic, obnoxious superfans. Every fall, "they're going to the superbowl! 14-2 at worst." That kind of nutty stuff. He even thought Quincy Carter was awesome. He was so bad that I actually began to enjoy it when Dallas lost. The funny thing was that every time he actually went to a game, they lost. I got to laugh and remind him that every time I went, they won.

I know you and I disagree on football. I'm a Dallas Cowboys fan and you're a Boston Patriots fan, but if your screen name is true you are invited to our club meeting the second Monday of each month (Hey! That's tonight!) and I'll buy you a drink.

If you're ever around these parts let me know. Here's a link to our club's site. Linky

They still have their handicap. Jones could screw up a wet dream without waking up.

He's getting pretty old now, so I doubt he's able to screw much of anything.
