Hopefully, finish this year, then walk.
Kansas City just bought themselves a 2 or 3 year window to win another Super Bowl. Beyond that they're fielding a team of Mahomes and a bunch of scrubs because they won't be able to afford to retain most of their other decent players. You don't win SBs paying your QB a bazillion dollars, just ask Seattle. I hope JJ is smart enough not to make that mistake.
Normally, I would say he'll pay. But I'm pleasantly surprised he has held out this long. I think that he finally realizes he won't see another SB in his lifetime, if he writes that check.
If you want to win , get the best big fellas , the game is won and lost in that area 2 feet on both sides of the line of scrimmage .
I agree that the chiefs have max 4 years of superbowl favorite before the talent gets signed away, also building thru the draft isnt easy when done in the uppers 20s every year. Seattle, GB, and Atlanta even thou they didnt win a SB all have high paid QBs and no titles since giving them that contract.
I like what JJ is doing and finally taking a stand of earn the contract first, nothing against Dak but he hasn't proved he can carry the team. Watson is in line next for a mega contract and again all talked up about his potential but nothing to back it up.
Randy Gregory can play again.
Still early but not looking good for the Cowboys. I think they'll lose this one.
You may have spoken too early.
We'll see. I don't have much faith in the 'boys after last year. Or the past twenty-five years.
Where's the D???
I was just about to type the their D sucks.
On their hats....so far.
First game. No preseason. I was pleasantly surprised at the play this weekend by most teams I saw.
That was a crap call. Ramsey was doing the same thing.
Well, hard to say the Cowboy's got screwed out of the game since they missed a FG, but that call was terrible and may or may not have been a decider. You would think with 25 officials on the field, fake fan noise, and video review.....that kind of crap would be over. Last year was a disaster for the officials......will this year be too?
I was surprised they didn’t kick the chip shot FG to tie the game @20-20 when they went for the first down on 4th and goal. The play call wasn’t even creative.
Yes. Bad call by new head coach.
Where's Stevie when you need him?
Sunday was a costly loss for the Cowboys in terms of injured players. Linebacker, tight end and O lineman.
Yes, they certainly had some unfortunate injuries. But it seemed that the back-ups were not a liability. I am not sure that the conservative coach that JJ chose was the best option for the horses in that stable. There are some high flyers on that team and they should be cut loose to do their thing.
The Rams are not an unfortunate team in terms of talent or coaching. It was a solid matchup on both sides.
