    Great trip Dave!

When is the next one? :rofl

I am a pretty easy going guy. I know that with several thousand people on this site and everyone has their own opinion. There are some that say that they don't read ride reports, that they would rather do their own ride. The way I look at RR's can be an inspiration (uh, like yours) and then i read alot for entertainment as well as research. How the hell do i know where the good roads are out there? Yea, sometimes that is the fun, picking the direction and and hitting the road.

One hell of a report Dave. Thanks for taking the time to document it and allowing us to meet the people along the way.

    Dave,

Awesome ride report! Got my wife reading it from the point you met Uwe and Jochen and she was hooked. She only tolerates my motorcycle sickness so that's saying something - although she did say you were getting a bit sappy somewhere in there :D. Don't feel bad though - she was a Navy nurse deployed with the Marines in Iraq back in 2003. Born again hard she is.

I don't read the ride reports very often. Every once in a while I get an itch to poke around and I got that itch a couple days ago. 2011 has been a year I'd like to forget for many reasons and for whatever reason I found your report and enjoyed it immensely. Make of that what you will.

Thanks for taking us along on your journey.

And you really should write that book...

    Dave,

One day you and I are going to tip some Canadian Rye Whiskey together, perhaps at a ride gathering of other FF's. If that's not your game, that just leaves more for me. :D

Your reports are certainly motivating, I just need to make the time to get out there and do the same. I appreciate that you put it all out there and share it with us, so thank YOU for doing so. I just wish I was better able to put into words what I feel. We'll get together for a ride one of these days :thumb

:wave Dave Thanks for taking the time and energy to write your story and share the journey will all of us. Anyone who has done a RR knows what it takes to do (in time and efforts) . Know that is worth it, for you and certainly for those of us who can connect with your ride. Thanks!!!:clap :clap :clap :deal

PS: Say Hello to Julie too. Someday you will need to make it out to the PNW. Will have room when I return.
