    Great report Dave, can't wait for the rest! I just rode much of that route this summer myself:clap

    I came to a realization part way though my trip that I could make almost as good time off the slab as on, especially if I rode a little longer (which was tolerable because it was more fun:) ). Anyhow, not really relevant, just what I learned this summer (and judging from your Uly pick-up RR you already knew that...).
