Still getting some stuff done. Even had a chance to rack up around 100 miles since the bike has been back together. Took a ride yesterday in the dirt, gravel and about inches of water (some of the back roads here are flooded) with the wife on the back. Got a little wet, but running great and really liking the tires.

Got the spare fuel can mounted.

Took off the rear stop for my top box and the OEM rubber bungs on the back work out well for the Rotopax.

Got the mods for my helmet cam mount worked out. It will be interesting to see what kind of video I get from this camera!!

Got the light mounts on the crash bar and mounted one of them. Waiting for the other to be delivered (the shop where I got them only had one). I will post pics of that when they are both mounted.

Topped off liquids and the bike should be good to go!!!

    Be safe out there.

Too much food is a minor problem as it gets progressively smaller as you go.

    Ride safe...

Will you be moving the updated posts to the Day Trippin or Epic ride reports?

Hey Pegbeater, I hope you remembered you are going to Death Valley and not Big Trees. Did you remember to bring tent nails and a hammer?

I didn’t get nails, but I did get a bunch of the long, wide plastic ones. I figured they would be good in sand

Sand yes, but rocks no. Home depot sells 10" timber spikes for for 67 cents. You might want to pick up 4 or 6.
