I flew out to Las Vegas, rented a bike and spent 6-7 days riding out in DV in early December
Wow................. I have to go back as 6 days just wasn't enough. I was solo, so kind of hesitant
taking some of the more remote roads but now that I know what's it's like and reading some
of the reports here about people riding solo, I think I'll be more at ease riding alone.

I've ridden parts of Utah/Nevada/AZ/Big Bend solo but DV was sensational. The diversity of the
landscapes, the views - oh the views, the remoteness.

I'd highly recommend everyone to ride out there at least once and the next time i'll drive out there
and take my own bike - rentals are great but there's nothing like riding your own bike.

That's the spot where I found out that 5 mph was 2 mph too fast on my Gen 1 KLR

    Dammit.

Darn glad I didn't roll off to the right.
