Now that I think about it, he is from South Carolina actually. Also, he was on a DL650. So - not even close. Sorry about that. When you're passing through, you are welcome to camp on our property if you like.

It will rain tomorrow on the east coast. Now, when I type east coast, I actually mean where the Atlantic Ocean is close to. :D

So, I will just ride Th, and get a little wet, and dry out on Friday in VA Beach, and Sat morning ride to Dover Downs Speedway. :clap

I will miss out on some Colonial stuff.
I doubt I will hit it up on the way back. Time will tell.

Recon 5 sleeping system on tarp. She is rated for -20C. Also, she is damn near water proof. [IMG]

    Before
I have loads and loads of food on board.

    After
I sat on the seat with Tennis shoes, and even with the weak suspension, I was just on the balls of my feet. So I should be good with my boots on.

I later put a glow belt around the back of the tarp so that I can get a higher profile.

I do not have a concrete set up for folding this.
I could stow the sleeping bag away once I eat all of the food in my medium sized Alice pack.

Lastly, that thing on the peg is a foam deal to keep fake flowers in place when placed at one of those flower holders at a grave site.
It really helps out with peg vibes. The handle bars are the most vibey now. That is no big deal.

    And,
I always ride with a empty back pack on. If I need to I can toss the sleeping bag in there, and fold the tarp like a used to.

Also, when it comes time to go off road, I will fold up the tarp from the seat and tie it back down so that I can seat on the sheep skin.

Ohh, and I will have 17,999 miles when I start the tour.

    And,
you can tell that I roatated the handle bars forward, because the hand guard is not at a 90 degree angle with hitting the wind, but instead facing down a little.

Ohh, and notice the oak tree in the last pic. Some leaves have fallan, and just a few are turing colors.

    Day 9 trip planning.

Well, it looks like my low tyre was due to her just being low.
She was at 19lbs or so after setting for two plus days.

    Never felt that low before.
Will kep an eye on her.

So I went out today and filled both up to 33psi or so.

    So tomorrow.

    I have a 160 mile trek.

Riding out of Tenafly, NJ to New London, CT.

    Highway 9W north.

Will ride close to West Point before turning east on highway 6 to Peekskill, NY.

Looking over things, I think I will stay to the north and cross the Thames River around the town of Mohegan Sun.

So, will stay on highway 6 after crossing the Hudson,
Right on 67 toward Bacon Falss.

Right on the 42 toward Cheshire.

    Highway 68 toward Durham.

Then toward Higganum. Jump on 154.
Cross CT river on the 434?

    Go toward Salem

    Then toward Mohegghan Sun
    Cross river

    South on 12 to Groton.

Tomorrow around noon, I will hopfully start the next and longest part of the tour.

    New England.
