    The gift never stops giving.

More last owner grief. More epoxy to cure his botches. This was where he put the sheet metal screw thru to hold his "security plate" that failed to anchor the loose bolt sub for a stopper pin... Unbelievable.

Such a lovely little machine too. No more used bikes!

Aaaaaaah. Perhaps the longest uninterrupted (by crashing or botching) run of miles she has had since new! She shifts, no leaks and we managed to pull the ton! 100! Amazing!

A piece of steel conduit pipe is the perfect match to mate the new carb to the new rubber manifold. A 2" long piece add a clamp and its ready to run... but it needs a fresh throttle cable as the original is too long so this one gets back burnered awhile. Off to ebay for a throttle and cable.

Getting closer... new carb, throttle and manifold should fall into place. The air box connection I have will get me at least close to fully connected. The new cheapo aluminum handle bars are already loosely mounted.

Wonky carb and manifold officially and forever jettisoned. Thing started after getting the vac petcock flowing with a few kicks and took but a quarter turn to get the idle correct. What a pleasure to have factory-ish correct parts to install.

Air tube popped right in place. Air filter is missing so I stuffed an oiled foam from a pod there for now. It will breath clean filtered air from here forward.

Sorry to see you selling this. What are you replacing it with?

Small bikes are fun. Years ago I managed to get a street title for my wife’s TTR125L. Was my favorite bike to ride into the downtown area. I would park in the bike rack at the library.

Having it for sale and having it sold are very different things. :lol3

Rieju 50 Pro is in my sights. All the other companies refused to ship their 50 over to the USA. Rieju sent me a "to my door" shipping quote.

Navin, I did not see where you mentioned that the bike was for sale.....
Bummer after putting that much work and $$ into it. Guess I can understand
after looking at the picture of the Rieju. I hear they just bought the Enduro portion
    of GasGas from KTM.
We might see an new GasGas/Rieju superMoto in the future.
    cheers, Jeff

Im still going yo play with it, its heen a frugal distraction. But if it suited an inmate Id just as soon let it go live a better life on a RV bumper or whatever.

I have a new rear master cylinder coming so that will get sorted next. I may grab a foam sheet to cut my own air filter. Its a big flat panel so I don't think I need to order it from Europe.

I got the newly carbed + fully air boxed/snuffed bike out today. She was breaking up at higher RPMs. Where it would easily hit 100KPH it now struggled to do 85. Jetting.... OK, we are rich up top. Running it without the filter and box cover its ripping.

So in we go. Hit the Joanne Fabric shop for open cell 1/2" foam. Made a nice old school Husky 570/610 style air filter + box cover mod. Bit of light oil on the foam... Back in business. Good midrange, (OK, good for a 75cc), plus it revs out clean.
