Hope I didn't cross a line here by mentioning the Zombie Stabbers (now that I'm caught up w/ the report).

We all have at one point or another, it is the charm and humor of this report!

@Zubb, There's a whole page's worth of posts that have been punted to the basement for brazenly supporting Joe's illicit commercial activities. If your Zombie Stabber post gets booted then you'll be in good company.

Some of my best (OK, only) ADV food photography now resides in Head Explody. Oh, the shame! Oh, the horror!

First rule of adjustafork, you don’t talk about adjustafork.

Damn man, went away for a couple more days and come back to some great updates. Mad bull (lol), thankfully no more bare skin pics, and stellar scenery and riding and some great action shots. The pics from your trek back into Moab - wow. I'm likely going to be one of those annoying tourists down the road at some point, though my hope is to stay far away from the crowds as I don't like 'em either. Glad you didn't get taken about by that sxs moron, laughed hard at the comment about you seeing his wife give him an earful :lol3 :lol3

Did you at least use some gas to get the coals going :rofl

Hope this doesn't get booted and you don't mind, but had the chance to break my set of 'em in this past weekend campin' with the family. Not minimalist by any stretch, but the bacon wrapped shrip and carne asada was effin' tasty. Already looking forward to the next opportunity to use 'em (before fires are banned for the summer up here).

Respect to Zaniac for keeping that 1940's Ford Tractor on the job.

Hell yeah man, looks like you nailed it! Hope you had a good outing and are instilling some good values into those youngsters. Let me know if you make it to the Moab zone. If I'm out and about maybe we can cross paths.

You should see some of the old printing equipment he has at the Moab Times.

    Oh yeah, fun!
    Day10 - 10.jpg

Drey Dog was getting a hold of it!!
    Day10 - 11.jpg

    Big terrain.
    Day10 - 12.jpg

The trail went into this wash for a bit and we were railing it pretty hard. It was loose and fun but I lost it on one of the corners.
    Day10 - 14.jpg

We love traveling light for this type of reason.
    Day10 - 15.jpg

The day progressed. Nice weather, lots of vegetation, great trail, blah blah blah.

This is the real deal. Hitting these trails hard. Riding fast.
    Day10 - 17.jpg

We were taking a break at one point when these dudes rolled up on their way back to their camp. They said stop on by for some keg beer. Hell yeah! I don’t think they expected us to show up 15 minutes later. I mean, free cold beer on the trail!! Of course we had to stop. It was this dude’s 50th birthday. Needles to say he was having a good one.
    Day10 - 19.jpg

We rolled out and still had 20 miles or so of single track to go.
    Day10 - 20.jpg

This wash was dry when I came through with Zaniac. Warm weather and snow melt got it going. Easy crossing still at this point.
    Day10 - 21.jpg

    We were nailing it!
    Day10 - 22.jpg

Now we were close to our destination. A section of two track spit us onto a main road which we took into town for gas and supplies.

Killer pic, looks nothing like the shots from your trek out of Moab...the diversity of the terrain you've experienced is fantastic @Joe Motocross :D :D

Wow. You guys are nailing it with the photography. Nice crisp in focus action shots. The shots of Drey Dog in the air and hooking it around that ridge are fantastic.

We used to do some crazy stuff on bikes back in the day but very little of it was ever recorded for posterity. It’s cool to have a record of it. You will really appreciate all these great shots as you get older.

Thanks @SlowMovinDream. Like I said earlier, I really don't know anything about photography so I'm surprised they look as good as they do. At some point I'd like to learn a bit more. It definitely takes a little effort to stop, pull out the camera and take some shots but it really is cool to be able to look back at the journey.

We grabbed a few things for dinner and breakfast the next morning and went to gas up.
    Day10 - 24.jpg

We rolled over to the gas station and I noticed my tire was flat. I’d picked up a nail somewhere.
    Day10 - 25.jpg

Back to the shade where I could repair it.
    Day10 - 26.jpg

This is the standard scene. You fix your flat while your buddy sits in the shade and heckles you while drinking beer. As I’ve stated in my other ride reports, we have an extensive classification system for flats. The classification includes the severity, number of holes and what caused it. This was a simple Class 1, single, nail. Thow a patch on and roll. No problem. Well, something happened just before we rolled into camp. My tire was flat again.

Max minimalism, dualpurpose front tire, back rest and a adjustafork rest.

BTW, did you self-fund the extensive development costs of the Adjustafork or get some minimal seed funding from wise adventure capitalists?
