Yes, have talked with Barbers about a year ago and if we get the bike there, they will accept and put on display. I am on the road at this moment but can head off to Bham on short notice.:))

I have had several rats from my nest go to barbers and say it was too classy. . Apparently there are several bikes in the AMA museum in Ohio that are rode hard an put up wet and it might fit in better

holy shit dude...but that has to be one of the ugliest bikes I have seen in a while!!! ...great job!!
it was very nice to read about you trip with your son, that was great. I worked with my father my whole life, I would not trade it for the world, I am who I am because of him and if what I just read is any indication of the kind of person and personality you are, you son will be great...he has an awesome example to observe ..great job..........but dude that bike is horrendous...you can`t sell it...but if you give me $500 I will take it from you

I think the character and un-classiness is precisely why the CACK needs to be at Barber. It doesn't need to be where it fits in, but rather where it stands out. Just as it has done all these miles.
If I had time, I would happily do a fly and ride to get it to B'ham. It's only 3 hours south of me, and I'll be there in October for Barber Vintage anyway.
Sucks having a job and a baby sometimes...

    Hope you're well, Vermin.

Still one of the most entertaining RR's on ADV.

    Which branch?

Cack made it to Barber, but did it make it back? Or did it stay to nest? Our local motorcycle museum might have been a better fit, though far less famous.

I don’t know why this thread re-emerged from the lagoon but I’m sooooo glad it did!

    Three things

    1. If there is an class for writing moto travel diaries - you should be the Dean
    2. Advrider needs an Art bike forum immediately!
    3. You and folks like you - inspire me to get my brain in gear. Some day in the future - my one year old boy I hope will want to go on a BIG trip with me. I want to be ready with the right attitude and spirit of adventure.
    3. Any reference to Corona is utterly confusing now - did your brother in law give you a beer or an infection (checks date of post....got it)

Thanks for making me laugh out loud!
