went to home depot to get parts to build a new bike work table a la @JagLite

    not a single 2x3 that wasn't 1/4 bark/fucked up edged.

went to the other home depot, same. went to the actual lumber yard.... closed.

did get the plywood, cut, and got all the screws needed.

    then..... more bowling.

tomorrow ill be at disneyland. so..... maybe wednesday i can hit the lumber yard.

I thought that was what Sealsam was referencing, that ride they do in CA every year... Confusion on my part. Haven't you done a couple of them before, or am I thinking of someone else?

Sam is referencing meeting up with mutual friends in Vegas in mid October.

that scrap heap stuff is way above my pay grade.

Maybe in your retirement we could do an advrider collab between you and the cheep bikes thread for the next one... Maybe it's called the dirt bag challenge? I might have more wires crossed.

A little late. GO was announced 3 weeks ago. But that does mean you have 5 weeks, which is 1 more week than the original program.

I’ve never successfully built anything cheap. I’ve spent 20+ years with pretty much “open checkbook” customers, so that mindset trickles down to my builds.

When you retire you will recalibrate.

And it's harder than you think.
