Liver-Haters (if you say it fast enough, it sounds like liberators) NOT Liver-Eaters, Norm! Do you not know this by now? It is evil.

No. Can you post a video of you singing a song or two by them? You know us, we won't use it against you. :photog

I would like to actually do this ride this year. I currently have a Vstrom 650 but plan on having something more long-range / dirt friendly by the Spring. Also, I will need to find a team to join...

Don't forget, being this early in the year, if you don't like the teams out there you can also form your own team (with a cool name, a secret handshake, matching t-shirts, and a team mascot).

Don't be intimidated by everyone who wants to suffer for several hundred miles on a dirt bike with a 2x4 seat. A V-strom can do it, and a lot more comfortably, too. :lol3

Good tires will be your friends, though. :deal

Good to know on both counts (re: bike and teams)! I am planning on buying something Orange-ish in the coming months, so more than likely that's what I'll be riding... Looking forward to making it this time around and making a nice long weekend out of it.

I always seem to end up with a different group of people every year.
Keeps things interesting, i don't mind leading others into the abyss.
As long as they help me get out, after pictures of course.

After I led that lot in the Russian Front a few years ago I said I will not do it again but if you're willing to take the jump I might bring a small drone to capture the moment ; just let me know 1 min ahead so I can boot all my devices ; don't complain about the delay, even Jesus needed 3 days to restart .

Team Old Farts will accept new members...950 and 690 so far. Another 690 is likely but that's all I'm sure of.
