I'm really interested in going this year but need to buy all the camping gear, etc...
i would think a person could rent somewhere
They're in the building next to where I work.
I would like to join the ride in the Old Farts in Training group. I'll probably be riding a KTM 500. I'll be a rookie this year.
According to Hondo...all you need is a banana, an apple, and a tarp. He can fill you in when you get here. LOL
I dunno, I need at least one chocolate bar...
Substitute chocolate for banana.
A banana, an apple, and a tarp ....................
Now don't leave us hanging Scott ............... or Leigh.
If you don't pick everything you need up by then, I have a tent you can borrow.
Not as light and tiny packed as my North Face Tadpole, but it's not too huge.
Mr. and Mrs. Mechanical are tentatively in! 2UP on the 990.
Thanks Blake. I'm probably going to be getting a huge REI dividend this year, so shouldn't have an issue picking stuff up. Just gotta find the time to go more than anything...
How are things on your side of the mountain? Be good to see you!
Cold and snowy. Just thinking about June puts a smile on my face.
It'll be good to make it this year. Kelcy and I are looking forward to having some beers with you FFs... even Uli.
per their website, getoutfitted no longer rents camping gear.
outdoorsgeek looks like a good option. My gear is too bulky so this has my attention.
Will, you just bring the coolaid and we'll have the everclear packed.
I gotta say, it's rather nice down here in Delta. As Norm just informed me, we hit 40 degrees today here. A bit muddy but that beats the freeze
I have LOTS of koolaid. and 15 and dropping....
Nice call, Norm. Normstown, the aftermath.
I have a commitment on 6/9 but free 6/10 and 6/11 (currently). Is there a late to the party group?
Guess your best option is to get to campground on 10-th, you'll probably ride alone but you can choose your track and join the party ; I believe it's the Echo Park (not sure ), Norm changes the tracks every year to keep us on out toes. Couple of years ago he even drove a tractor on a swingin' bridge just to force us make a detour.
