One year ago, I saw the Craigslist ad for a '97 Sporty. Only $2,000.

I knew it was soon to be mine! :nod

I emailed them to see if it was still available, and to set a time to see it.

Y'all know the rest if you've been following for a while. :deal

My Year in Review/Decade in Review has been a personal horror story. So much evil. Steal. Kill. Destroy.

    NO MORE! :boid

There is a site out there that has you pick one word for the year.

    Mine is: VENGEANCE

Since there are those that say, "Living well is the best revenge.":gerg I guess it can have dual meanings. :hmmmmm

No one says that I have to choose only one, so:

My new theme song, at least for a while:

(I think it was @waylongway that got me into Blackberry Smoke. Thanks WLW.)

And I'll keep posting here, too to show the living well part! :thumb

    Till next time y'all.

    Yup... Nope!

Don't miss an ounce of that.

Even Little Buddy is poking his tongue out to the snow:

Our hummingbirds have been gone for a few months now.

    Smart! :nod

It's still coming down, too. :dirtdog

I know you guys up north are laughing at our "snow" here, especially when you get blizzards, but it's pretty rare here to even get this much. :vardy

When I lived in Prescott, Arizona we got 32" overnight in the winter of 1987. I'm glad to get away from all that! Chains and shoveling snow? :topes

Now, I don't have anywhere to go, and I can wait it all out. :bubba

That weather is coming my way. I hope we get some snow so I can get out and ride in it. Snow and bikes always make for some good pics.

I might have gone out to play in it if I had a DS or dirt bike, but I've broken enough bones this past 12 months or less, so I don't want to be out sliding on the Sporty. :lol3

It's 9:30pm, and it looks like it finally stopped snowing.

    My car is under there!

That's the most snow that we've had here for quite a few years.

Our neighbors in front and behind were out building snowmen with their kids in the dark. :loco

I doubt there will be school for them tomorrow either. It would be different if those young punks had to walk 20 miles in the snow to school, uphill both ways like we did! :gerg

    :lol3

    Keep warm y'all!

We ended up with about 4~4.5". Lost power yesterday around 5:30 pm, lost internet soon after that. Luckily we have a whole house gen, and currently using my phone as a hotspot.... This area is not equipped for storms like this.... lol

Hey, when I was young I had to walk 10 feet through shag carpeting to change the TV channel........uphill both ways of course:lol3:lol3

That storm fizzled out by the time it got here. We didn't get nearly as much snow as you did.

The sun came out earlier today saw how cold it was, :vardy and then wrapped himself back in the clouds and took a nap. He finally came back out to look at what he's got to finish melting tomorrow. :hair

He just left everything a soggy mess today. :dirtdog

Well, yesterday I had the fun of discovering a river in my front yard. :dirtdog

    leak 1.jpg

Not sewer. A broken water pipe. That's just dirty brown/red water from our East Texas clay.

    leak 2.jpg

Flowing past the front of the house.

    leak 3.jpg

The plumber won't be coming out until sometime this week, so we're on emergency water rationing. Filled the tub with water for flushing, and I can always turn the main on if needed, but I hate this kind of thing. It can get costly.

Is that a DRC thing or a utility company thing?
