The snow on the backroads of the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia is melting and the slippery mud is here. Which is all good by me and my Himalayan, Bagheera, as we enjoy getting dirty. We set out for a ride through the rainy forest, filled with mist and soon the roads took us to a small lake amongst the trees. The lake did not disappoint and it was a great spot to stop for a break. There were five swans swimming at the one end. The camera I had didn't pick them up very well, but you can kind of see them. It's the first time I have seen so many together in this area. Really cool. The area was all set up for camping, a fire pit, some empties to return for more beverages and even a loo with a view. I was very happy (from the ride, not the amenities, I squat, like a real woman...lol) and so were the Himalayans, but they were soooo dirty when we got home. All part of the fun! Great ride.
