There's no magic bullet for a successful ride. I'll provide some tracks as we close in on the dates but if they don't go well, please don't shoot the messenger. What I mean is, I'm extraordinarily familiar with my local riding areas and would be very comfortable customizing a route for anyone who wanted to ride around here but I am not very familiar with La Sal/ Moab having only ridden there a few times. This is why I keep reiterating that everyone do their own homework. If you decide that it's too much work and you just want to latch onto someone else, that's fine. If you are good with digging into the web and coming up with a good plan, then by all means, go for it. Same as you and I heading into the unknown that time at Pahrump. I had ridden 0% of those trails but I had done my homework and that made for an incredibly memorable ride but we just didn't know until we went out and rode it. WRT isn't hard but it is exhausting. Be prepared for a long day. I have a condensed version of the ride which touches on some fantastic parts of the WRT but doesn't make it a FULL day. I bet lots of folks would dig it as a "Taste of Moab" day.
