This one is before the exhaust tip was added.
What kind of rack is that?
A poster on Thumper Talk made it. Stainless Steel. I realy like it.
Did you just put the SM rotor in the S wheels, or did you change calipers?
Yup. SM rotors on the S wheels. Hubs are identicle.
awesome thread. makes me want to sell my klr!
Me too...You wouldnt happen to have any contact info for this person on TT would you? PM me if you like.
a few pics of my sold DRZ-E. not a good idea selling the good bike. i think sometimes i will look for an other DRZ(-SM) again.
A few pics of the two DRZEs I have had and currently own. The 01 had CR250 forks and a full Yosh, the 02 is farkled pretty good, engine basically stock. Previous owner of 02 screwed up the FCR so bad I could never get it to run right, so I bought and FCR 39MX and it bolted right on using S model throttle cables. The green KLX is a friends. Great bikes and tons of indestructable fun!
PM to you...
Here is my new to me 2008 DRZ400. 900 kms (600 miles)
I am new to DRZ's so any advice you can give me would be helpful.
Sold my plated E today to Steve91T. Hope he enjoys it as much as I did.
I like your idea. What did you do about the side cover, leave it as it was, or did you manage to modify it in any way?
It still dirty from when i took a digger 6 weeks ago.. but it's finally time to get back on her this weekend .. woo hoo
now to figure out why after the wipeout, when i pull the clutch in the bike starts (starter engages when i shift). Took it apart and got the sand out and reset the little v-clip that goes to the starter button.. funny it wasn't a spring.
