Decided to throw some Shinko 244s on the Motard while my KLR is down for a motor rebuild. Probably gonna get some dirt wheels in the future as im getting too old to Motard and i want to make this my lighter weight Dualsport. DRZ with Knobbies.jpg

An updated picture of the bike. Excited to say that a used 28ltr safari tank was found at a great price online. Certainly notice the weight of the tank on the trail, not a problem on the road. 20190324_143608.jpeg

SM. 21” front. Would like to go 18” rear. Will the 400s wheel work - direct swap?

Yep, direct swap. Just need to transfer the SM brake rotors to the S wheels. And if you want the speedo to be accurate get yourself an S speedo gear.

I love how that looks. Like a TW200 on steroids. How does that fat front handle? I know you can't flick it around but is it still reasonably nimble?

Handled surprisingly well on gravel, dirt, and pavement. Ive since bought a set of dirt wheels and installed Shinko 244s on them too.
