A few of us went to MOAB in 2013. As we are FL flatlanders and not used to rocks...I made a rock guard for my DRZ headlight. The other riders in our group rode DR650's and DRZ's and after seeing mine...wanted one too. I made a jig to make them and now it looks like I will make some to sell too. The guards are tig welded steel expanded metal with an arch in the center to make them stronger and protect the headlight from a big hit. I paint all headlight guards silver (unless you specify black). Guards fit the later model Suzuki DRZ or DR650 headlight shrouds. If your headlight shroud has the two tear drop opening (vents) at the bottom like in the picture...it should fit your bike. I installed them with small SS sheet metal screws (not included). They work great and saved my headlight out west.

I still have the jig and can made more for $25 each. Shipping is $4 (anywhere in the continental US). I can give a shipping discount if you buy more than one. If interested PM me for details and where to send your payment.
    Thanks,
    Bill

Your welcome! That a good looking bike. Mine is a 2009 and it looks we have set them up about the same. I had the side guards like you have then changed over to a pair of Wolfman racks for a trip to MOAB. I also installed a kick starter on mine a couple of weeks ago. It's much easier to kick over (without a compression release) than I would have guessed.

Are you still making these - we need 3. Are you in Aus or US?

First post, welcome. You may also try PM/email by going to the original posters (OP) page. My light guard is still working great, tested all over NM and 7 days in Baja.

While I have not made any of these in quite a while...I made a batch for Devils Creek this year. I have 3 left over if anyone wants them. Price is same as before.
    PM me for details.

Just saw the guards you made for DR650. Are you still making them, if so I want 3?
    Thanks
