i currently have a set of BC 35 panniers and am very happy with them. I’d like to buy a set of hard panniers and attach the nylon mounting frame to it so it works with my already installed hardware and will be a 30 second pannier swap. Although a bit pricey to add as a mounting system it would be quite slick. However,I was reading reviews on their site and saw this, “I love the bags and am happy with them so far, however I’ve broken 2 mounts already. Don’t under any circumstances clip a post at more than .5 MPH or they snap.”

So I am curious if anybody has had an issue with breaking these? Obviously, a hard pannier is going to transfer a bit more energy than a soft pannier if you whack them. Wondering if I ought to revisit the hockey puck install for durability?
