I heard a story about a guy who loaded a bunch of bikes on a trailer and drove across the desert at 100 mph to death valley, unloaded it, road 100 mph through death valley all weekend and loaded it back up and drove 100 mph all the way home. By another account he was the kind of guy who loaded his bike with useless bling and didn't want to get it dirty. I even heard he let a guy "finger f*%k" his bike!

    :hide

On a more serious note, is it too early to call dibbs on trailer space for '08 ???

I believe this is the blinged out trailer queen they speak of here. Looks like the owner gussied it up with bags and "adventure" lighting to look like he rides it places.

They actually belong to KTMSER and his buddy Rockthrower. I'm just poking a little fun. They both in fact ride those things like they stole them, but KTMSER is kind enough to save room on the trailer from time to time for the extended outings. He and Rocktrhower will even wait around for me and wait for me to catch up. Some guy was accusing them of being rich boy poseurs at DVD last year.

Riding to DV from phoenix is over rated. I was quite jeaolous riding home to phoenix when they passed me, air conditioning on, cool drinks in the cupholders, smoking cigarettes and giving my tired ass the bird driving by! I'm looking forward to trailering this year and saving the tires and my back for exporing DV.

Ok, correction: Riding HOME from Death Valley is highly over rated. Especially since I had a shorter stay than you guys and left a day early.

I had a great time drinking 12 year old scotch fireside and camping in Mojave preserve and watching Codewheeney fight gravity and keep his bike vertical in the sand. Bombing into DV at ton up sppeds via Harry Wade exit as the sun lit up the pallete, awesome. Hanging round DV and riding, priceless.

Riding home with a two-day hangover, fighting traffic at the damn dam and wondering how a cat shit in my mouth while I slept, not so good.

Need to plan ahead. And just to be clear, if I go, I'll be trailering my Husky there and back. :clap That bike is not happy cruising at 65mph.

Truly sad to see those great bikes looking so so sad on the back of that trailer. J/K... I can ride there in one hour (two if I take the road)!!!
