We got to check out the "just opened today" part of the Foothills Pkwy from Walland to Wears Valley. Beautiful! Just a couple pix , the color is still looking "colorful".

Just saw some photos on FB in the Blue Ridge/Smokys group that if not yours were taken just about the same spot and time of day. Kind of crappy weather this week so I figured I'd check it out next Saturday in the predicted warmer temps. I hope there are a few splashes of color left after these next storms, but I think you guys may have enjoyed the last of this year's Fall scenery.

It seems like on our side of the Blue Ridge, Summer just hung on and then we]ve only had a few days of "real" Fall before shifting gears into "feels like an early Winter" mode. I enjoy all Seasons riding to include very cold and even a bit of snow, but we have multiple freezing rain and Winter Mix days forecast mid to late week and that crap along with hoarfrost and black ice always temper my early starts.

Anyways, glad to see you guys were able to share a beautiful day together!

    Cheers

It was a pretty day on the Foothills , little cool but the sum was out , rain coming on Monday so the leaves will probably be gone .
Any day I get to spend with Barb is a good day !

You don't have to be artsy down where you ride to take a nice photo, heck you can drop your camera and the picture it takes could be on a calendar...:lol3

Right. When the bought the TG4 to ride with me on the 690RE, the Nikon stayed behind. Now, that I've upgraded the phone, the TG4 has started to stay behind unless I can anticipate something spectacular where I want RAW images.

I really like photography but I hate carrying cameras everywhere , always have, the bigger the worser !
Hang a point and shoot around your neck and it's still a pita , to me.. welcome the Sena Prism , put it on the helmet , pair it with the Sena headset and walla , take pix on the fly, want a better pic , stop and get the phone out , you never leave the house without your phone and it does really neat stuff . Barb also can follow me with life 360 on the phone , does as good as the Spot in this neck of the woods .. And , when I come home she has the shop door open for me so all I have to do is ride inside and she closes the door and helps me off the bike !!!
I pass so many old houses and barns in this area it's unbelievable , I'll get'um next time , today I'm out for the ride !!!
I'll agree , E.Tn. is very photo friendly
    Wishing y'all a very cheerful Thanksgiving !

Loving this RR. I'm not 65 yet, but in all honesty it's a lot closer than when I was younger! This RR has me looking very much forward to the road ahead.

    Rock on!
