Nonsense, just keep it WFO in top gear with your weight on the back of the seat, you'll do fine!
Are they making inflatable riding suits like the Michelin Man?
I need to order a couple.
Forget the suit, just wear some shorts, a t-shirt, & sandals. You'll be good to go!
Yeah, especially if I want to be in all the pics with muddy face plants.
BTW, wouldn't flip-flops work better?
Your 250 will be perfect and we don't leave anyone behind when we ride. Expect some sand, but not a day at the beach.
So I guess that means leave the lotion, cooler and beach towel at home.
Nah, it's not a death march so we do take breaks (I'm an old fart).
If you can fit it on your bike and still ride single track bring it on.
The umbrella will be tough, but you would be surprised with all the stuff I can pack on my bike. Did you ride in the Toys Ride last Sunday in Merritt Island?
Question: How do I add pictures to my post? Can I take them right from my iPhoto or do I have to download them to a site first?
I missed this year, but have ridden the past few years on the Busa.
You missed a good one. There were about 22,000 toys collected and they said over 7,000 bikes.
Can I add a pic from my laptop?
Should be able to.
Well, I hope I ride better than I am at trying to attach a pic.
I clicked on Add Attachment and all that does is give me directions.
The same with the little paper clip.
Try to copy it then CTRL+V.
Well, I managed to get an avatar up.
I missed this whole thread and I'm even a featured rider. Or should I say a guy holding oranges by his bike
hey bronc how do you like that avatar. moose boy lives!see you in the morning.
Anyone have any thoughts on these? Today in the paper there were two bikes listed, a 2003 Yamaha YZ 125, stated as excellent condition for $2000. And a Suzuki 2005 DRZ 400S, 1800 miles, excellent shape $3500 negotiable. Thanks.
Check out the DRZ400s. It's a street model and it's tagged. Maybe you can talk him down from $3500. Although a 2005 model for $3500 isn't too bad. Forget about the 125 IMO. You usually can't get a tag for that one and you won't be able to ride any of the forest roads in ONF unless you stick to the ORV areas only.
That was kind of my thought by your last post on this subject so I was kind of pleased to see a DRZ in the paper. Tags are a must as I am in Cocoa and need to ride the bike to where you all are.
See if you can get him down to 3 grand on the DRZ, they are what, $4500 new? I paid $3100 for my 04, but it came nicely farkled. It had 5000mi. when I got it in June. The DRZ is a good all around machine IMO, at the very least you will find out if you want to go bigger or smaller or stay in the middle. It also seems to be bulletproof, we never have problems with them out on the trails.
