You got a pump and assorted plumbin' too? Either way, let me know . . .
remember I'm headed north to Mt Rushmore first.
1st glance 64 to US35 to US 68 to 70 to 74 to 80 stopping in Grinnell, Iowa. looks like a happening place 1070 miles
Did you buy the adventure tank?
Here ya go Harvey........
Not if your going for max mileage on that day. You don't want to hit US35/US68 across Ohia. Trust me.
Look at this route.
64 to Ky AA (9) to I-275, to Ind. 1 to I-74. A little break from the interstate, but still able to run 70+ the whole time. Scenic to boot. I recommended it last summer to those coming from the upper midwest to Charleston, and I know at least one person did it and commented on how good it was......
Still waiting for motozilla to get his new one . I don't want to keep a man away from his machine for too long. I should PM him and find out WTF is gong on.
Not like you're gonna be riding soon any way.
I'll reserve comment till I see you on this one.
thanks. very interesting. I don't like the stops around Cincy to document the corners-- 9 & 275, then 275 & 1, then 1 & 275.
but two stops would work 9 & 275, then 275 & 74.
I've been on a streatch of 9 down around Maysville, KY. freakwife tapped me on the shoulder and said there was a LEO behind us. He had his lights on. I pulled over and he went past me to the truck I was following at 70 mph in a 55 zone that was close.
So howzat work? You could do those two stops, cut right thru town, and save miles, but add time(traffic). It seems a stop on 9 somewhere between 64 and cincy would document that part of the leg, then a stop at 1 & 275 would document that part better. Why would you have to stop at both ends of 1? It's obviously the shortest route, so what could you be cheating by skipping that second stop?
wellll, ya know let me look at this again.
