Good find, looks very interesting. http://www.foxandhoundsladysmith.com/. The other two establishments, Nanaimo and in Parksville, look like pursuing as well.

Pretty good Chinese food at the Fan Tan Cafe today. Probably the best Wor Won-Ton soup found on Vancouver Island. http://www.fantancafe.com/

This hidden gem has been on my radar for a while. Definitely one of the biggest burgers that I have experienced in a while. As Cherry likes to call it "Soul Food", a meal that sticks to your ribs. Open for breakfast and lunch. Really worth the experience. http://cherriesbreakfastbistro.com/

The Mrs. and I had breakfast there last winter while we were waiting for our daughter to have gal bladder surgery. It was not good. Poorly prepared food with hair in it :puke2

The owner offered to re-make our meals herself, we opted to pay for our drinks and beat feet.

And of course, the Blue Belle Bistro in Kaslo continues to be one of my favourite breakfast joints in all of Canada.

It looks like it is still open, http://www.highwaymanpubonline.com/, maybe I'll give it a try after the motorcycle show.

Today I tried Wheelies Motorcycles, a bike repair shop that specializes in more vintage style bikes, beer on tap, live bands on weekends, pork sandwich was very good. http://www.wheeliesmotorcycles.ca/

We love making a run out to Kaslo for a quick weekend getaway. Coffee in the morning yacking with other riders out front of the Kaslo Motel, and breakfast at the Blue Belle are always highlights. Good times.

The Blue Belle sure looks like it is a good place to cruise to as noted by all the bikes outside. Hopefully we get to eat there this August when we go to the BMW meet in Nakusp. Google+

Great meal at Haultain Fish & Chips in Victoria. Probably in the top 3 fish restaurants in the Capital Regional District. http://www.haultainfishandchips.com/

Leo's in Nelson was recommended by the campground host in Riondel, he said they serve up a good portion and he was definitely right.

Tried this hidden secret on the weekend. Best thing of all it is walking distance to the campground at Rathreavor Beach Provincial Park. Lots of refreshments available. http://www.blackgooseinn.com/

Thought I'd add a few places that I go to near my work, on the airport side of Sidney.

Good, greasy cheap grub at Pizzability, on the corner of Mills Road and Mcdonald Park Road, beside the NAPA. This is the Philly Cheese Steak & fries.

    <a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/50049382@N07/16770822112" title="IMG_0702 by Gareth, on Flickr"><img src="https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7587/16770822112_2bce3ff2fe_z.jpg" width="480" height="640" alt="IMG_0702"></a>

Right next door to that, is Starke's Deli and Sausage Factory. They make the best bacon and bratwursts you've ever tasted.

There are two things you must try to get here at lunch time. Monday and Tuesday they sell Schnitzel in a bun. One of my favorites! The other which I don't have a photo of, is the Baron of Beef. Carmalized onions, horseradish, au jus sauce, it's amazing!

    <a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/50049382@N07/16149587054" title="IMG_0687 by Gareth, on Flickr"><img src="https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8750/16149587054_b788b002d2_z.jpg" width="480" height="640" alt="IMG_0687"></a>

And just around the corner on Galaran Road is the Homestead Cafe. Excellent breakfast spot! Shoulda opened this one up for the photo, it was loaded with peppers, cheese, sausage, ham, and mushrooms!

    <a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/50049382@N07/16746000676" title="IMG_0617 by Gareth, on Flickr"><img src="https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8571/16746000676_6b40787e02_z.jpg" width="640" height="480" alt="IMG_0617"></a>

And it came with a variety of home made preserves on the side! Nice touch!

The North West grill has great food and large portions. Open for breakfast and lunch at 6 am and closes at 3, Monday to Saturday, and closed on Sundays.

I bit harder to find as it is in the Industrial park. Just find the 7/11 on the strip and head over the RR tracks. Turn right at the first 4 way stop, then right again into the big parking lot.

Tell Carol that Rocky sent you.

Crow and Gate is 2 blocks from my house. Best beef dip in the world. Must have Guiness with it. Schooner is good but back when I lived in Ukee we would eat across the road at the Loft. It's now gone but the food was very good.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'm always looking for new places especially out in North Saanich area and I have never been to any of these 3 places. The Philly Cheese Steak & fries from Pizzability looks really good. :clap
