I live 10 minutes to the north, and have only drove by these restaurants like 100 times, and never once considered stopping by... now I will. Thanks for the review. :)

Nah, it's the Plougman's Lunch with Stilton cheese and a pint of Guinness.

I live ten minutes away and we drop in for lunch once in a while. It's good value for sure.

I was up in Kelowna last week doing some skiing and stumbled into this place.
Apparently in Kelowna it's Wing Wednesday in most of the pubs in town. Tonics Pub did not disappoint, the wings were big, cheap and very good.
Tonics has a good selection of beer, lots of TV's, eye candy and is right downtown.
The ladies next to us were locals and said it had the best food in Kelowna. http://tonicspub.ca/

Went there the other day specifically for the Caesar salad which I consider one of the best I have ever had, especially if you like bacon.

Went up to Campbell River this last weekend for some excellent off roads with RYDR and Fishnbiker.
We ended up at Roberts Lake Resort where this thread all began and the cinnamon buns are still very good and definitely worth a stop if you are headed to central Vancouver Island.

    GP's Donair and Pizza - http://www.gpdonairandpizza.com/

Finally went to this place the other day, really good all made with fresh ingredients.
If you go on Mondays the Halifax and Mediterranean donairs are only $5. Great deal!

I really like this thread . Just curious, has anybody thought about putting it in a spread sheet or something like that. It is hard to thumb through pages look the place up on a map then figure out a route. Or maybe put them on a google map?

We live a short distance away and the Stonehouse Pub, (next to the Swartz Bay Ferry terminal) is back in our good books.
New owners and staff have stepped up and made it a great place to have some drinks and dinner. Which also means it is rather busy most Friday and Saturday nights.
