The Ranch Cafe in Falkland seemed to have good food as well.
Oh so good!! Really good.
Especially after getting your butt handed to you on the trails at Whiskey Creek!!
Yup, my wife and I are there for breakfast every other Sunday throughout the riding season. If you get there early enough, you can even get cinnamon buns warm out of the oven.
Thin crust N.Y. style pizza. Outstanding. I know people that ride out from Vancouver just to eat this pie.
They only have a few tables and it isn't fancy by any means but the pizza is incredible.
The chef actually worked in a NY pizzeria for several years so they know how to do it right.

The Little Bavaria in Port Alberni is one spot I would like to go back to.
The 3rd Street Cafe in Sidney, this one is definitely a home run. Open for breakfast and lunch but usually quite busy. It is a small place so expect a line up, just remember it will be worth it.
3rd Street Cafe in Sidney
I will try it next time I do the Falkland-Chase road!
On the Kettle Valley Railroad outside of Kelowna is Chute Lake Resort. About a half hour from Kelowna. Kool place, neat open air museum out back. their hamburgers are awesome! Home made apple pies are crazy good. I have driven 8 hours just to eat there and then return home in the morning, that's what that place means to me. Thank God it did not burn with the Kelowna wildfire.
I love all the 'stuff' in the open air museum.
During the summer went to the Reid Hotel in Vanderhoof and was not disappointed.

Went over to Nakusp last week to look at a job and I stopped at the old buger cabin.
(Holy C%ap is food getting expensive in that little town!!!, mindya coffees good)
The Hut in Nakusp - Menu
For some reason, whenever I ride through Nakusp, The Hut is closed. Do they know I'm coming?
The Hut.....you guys missed the 0.01 Cent sale for an extra burger just a couple weeks ago. They are still open too, must be global warming doing that.
Trust me....forget their Poutine, gotta go to the Nomad in Revelstoke for that....or "La Belle Patate" in Esquimalt.
+1 on the Nomad in Revelstoke. Have had a few really good burgers there. On a warm summer day, it's a nice ride up to Revy for either a burger at the Nomad or Sushi at Frizbee Ridge Teriyaki for dinner after work.
The Hitching Post in Hedley has amazing food, it's one of those places that you just ride on by,
It is a couple blocks off hwy 3 but worth the time to stop, great service too
Jojo's cafe on main street in Osoyoos has good healthy food, fantastic breakfast's and soups.
I finally tried the Funky Monkey (new owners again!!). Really good burger. Special is $9.95 and the fries are good.
However the building is freaking freezing.
Kaslo's Bluebelle Bistro didn't disappoint again this morning. Had my favourite, huevos rancheros, while my wife tried the smoked salmon eggs bennedict. Both were terrific.
Oh Yeah!!! Pesto Potatoes.....beats Hashbrowns anytime.
DNF, We've got to find/try the Funky Monkey while we're here in Nelson. I'm craving a good roadhouse burger pretty bad.
