I will be out tonight with some firewood.
Any bike can go as long as you can drive at highway speeds.
Good ride with great people. We practised are you turns a bit. Just under $200 went to Stars. Nice day.
Pretty packed parking lot today, crew trucks and cranes look like they're setting up for work.
Like to thank Mark for the hotdogs last night.
We were thinking maybe because of the construction to meet down towards the east side of the park in the middle on the Riverside. Parking lot was empty there last night. Would that work for everyone?
If it's nice Thursday evening I'll swing down for a while.
Is it still in the same spot?
Yes still at Emily Murphy Park.
Except when you come into the park and hit the T along the river turn right instead of left. We will be just down there at the first parking lot . There has been a lot of construction and noise going on the east end.
Thursday, Sept. 10 looks like one of the last nicest days of the year. Does this still happen?
We will move inside someplace for the winter.
I won't be able to go on Thursday. But we have been going still. Come check it out. If you have some firewood, bring a few pieces,as we usually have a fire. You can also cook hot dogs.
Meeting report: no one came.
I'm going tonight. Looks like it'll be a nice night.
How the fuck do you get there if all the roads around there are closed at 7pm?
Down from the university works. I leave down groat then Whyte every time.
The link above shows where we have been sitting. The only road closure is the actual bridge, which closes at 8 p.m.. You need to either take Groat Road Northbound to Emily Murphy Road, or take Sask. Drive to Emily Murphy Road. Or come before 8 and take any road at all! Sorry you didn't make it. Everyone present even got a free Hot Dog, except one person, who left before I cooked them.
Thanks for the bun less hot dog Glenn Lol. It did hit the spot.
Bridge was closed by 7:30.
The sign I seen says the groat bridge closes at 7pm.
You are correct.
