With KTM (and the clone Husqvarna) now with full competition spec' (50cc class equivalent) mini-mx models... and competitor COBRA with their E5 class mini-racer (below)...

You gotta' wonder when the "full size" mx/enduro breakthrough is going to happen...?

KTM must surely have something in the works to step up from the "freeride" format, to a full blown mx/enduro/offroad platform soon... you'd think...?

The ALTA Redshift and - to a lesser extent - the TACITA T-RACE e-moto's have broken the ground, and shown the potential... question is when one of the established moto manufacturers will break through... HONDA is rumoured to have it's CRF based like E-motocross model in showrooms during 2020, ready for the 2021 season...

All may not be so rosy in the electric mudderboike world. Have heard tha IOM TT will not have a 'zero' event for the next 2 years.

Speaking of Zero, I think Ducati may run into some trouble with the moniker of this one https://electrek.co/2019/01/19/electric-ducati-motorcycle/

Kawasaki jumps in the battery powered game, and the gearbox vs "not needed" debate - on electric powered motorcycles - continues...

They look like capable offroad/enduro e-moto's...
SM Enduro CM250 eh...? look's like could be a contender/successor to the (now) defunct ALTA Redshift - as a bonafide electric powered woods weapon...

Pity about the film clip - that they put the poxy "tchaikovsky rip off" sound track over it, and spent so much time fucking around playing submarines with the bikes (okay... so the fact they can run underwater is impressive... but still?).

I'd like to know more about these... like when, where, how many, how's the the range, what's the spares/backup support... and how much...?

Yeah the vid started off ok apart from the sound track then turned to crap playing subs.

    They look good though.

One thing with electric is you could have a reverse. Imagine what Graham Jarvis could do with a reverse on his bike!

    Compact design... :thumbup

Okay... so it is only for a small scooter... but that is still a very neat and tidy little powerplant...
