Visited Mooresville today: The complete community is on the National Historic Register. The Brick Church: Beside the Brick Church is a bronze map: Close up of the inscription: 4 Info stands to the left of the church: (These 4 photos are linked to higher resolution photos if you click on them) The Church of Christ This old pump was inside the fence of one of the residents:
A short ride on up to the Space Museum and took these photos. Everything was blocked off and closed, so I couldn't get close to most of them. This display is HUGE. The pic doesn't do it justice:
Had a great therapy ride to Guntersville today. A state park, a lake, and a small fishing community I used to visit each summer with my grandparents called South Saudi. Brought back lots of memories. Entering the park: The lodge in the park: Took a shot of the sign from the other side when leaving:
And of course, the video version. I'm doing a bit better with my editing, so hopefully this one isn't boring. A four hour ride condensed into 5 minutes.
Enjoyed that. Beautiful scenery. I'm just getting started in vlogging and am curious as to what video edit program you use. I'm looking for a very simple one for my very simple mind.
I have used several in the past, but with a short learning curve I've learned KDEnlive. I'm running a Linux system as my daily driver. But I have a couple Windoz 'puters on the side. I have an old copy of Live Essentials (discontinued by MS) that can be downloaded from other sites that is very simple to use. Great for beginning. Lots of tutorials on YT for any one you choose. If you start with KDEnlive, you can graduate up as you learn the features while using the basic at the beginning. Thank you for your compliment @rascalman. I just subbed to yours. You already have as many as me in just 2 videos. Great job! And more comments. Maybe I need to get advice from you instead......
We rode over to the botanical gardens in Birmingham yesterday. They wouldn't let Enchanta inside. Ying came along and took a few selfies: Lots of people there and lots of kids. Had to do a lot of zoom/crop work to get the kids out of the pics. Still, it was a nice day. There were 3 wedding parties. The groups were all decked out like it was a competition to see who had the best wedding attire. But, didn't want to run afoul by posting pics with the kids.
