Nope Friday is last day for teachers, that's why I gotta stay here. I have this fucked up sense of duty, if I get the lateral I requested, it shouldn't be an issue next year.

Any info on condition of Nevada 34 & 8A, from Gerlach to Cedarville?

I was over them a month ago. 8A had just gotten 'dry'. (140 Denio or so to Cedarville)
There were still some snowdrifts out in the higher desert.
Drying mud tracks on the road. Likely gone now.
That road would have been nasty a week before we were there.
Hwy 34 no issues. (Gerlach to Cedarville)

Hays Canyon was still snowed in at that time.
There may be 'standing water' out in some of the low spots on the road... but I dunno.

Still about 42" of snow up at Dismal Swamp.

I think all the primary roads are 'no worries' unless it rains like hell... (which it probably isn't).

They say there are no stupid questions, and I'll probably prove them wrong, but here goes anyway:
    • I know the rally is at the Fairgrounds in Cedarville, but where is Rally Central at the fairgrounds?

    • Plan to sleep in my van (not down by the river). Do I have to park on pavement or can I park on grass with the tent folks (no hookups needed)? (Yes I just admitted I'm not riding up to the rally)

    • Do most folks bring their own food or are we encouraged to support the local restaurants?

    • Does Farm Rules mean BYOS (Bring Your Own Sheep)?
OK, Looked at pics from last year's thread. Looks like all vehicles and bikes had to park on pavement, but still can't figure out exact location.

And in a bit of seriousness, cars/vans/bikes on street. Tents on grass and yes.
