I dunno. Maybe. In my mind it was twice as deep, and 3 times that across. And there were snow flurries. And pitchforks. Lots of pitchforks....

aahHAA, I gnu it! Who do I gotta blackmail to get one? Or are they only for those who spend more than 1 night at the fairgrounds? It would look great on my KLR, says the sticker fiend.

Thanks Joel for organizing and John for bringing all the comforts of home. Had a great time and really enjoyed meeting everyone. Still can't believe Joe and Steve went through the water crossings in High Rock Canyon. My hat is off to you two!! I found out Steve was a former police dog. So says his dad.

@Bigger Al handed me some cash for expenses related to the rally. There were none. I am putting it in the dog chow fund if no one objects.

I had believed the dog had training. The way he followed me, walking from side to side but seldom in front. Staying at my side while walking. Stopping when I would stop.
I was sure it wasn't just from releasing him from the rest room (a couple of times) or providing him all the water he wanted.
I sure would like to help do something about the infection in his outer ear. Can you PM me Steve's owners contact info (ph #)?
    Thanks.

Can't think of a better use of the funds. :thumbup

I made him leave the fire a few times to lay down on the grass, and he was always obedient and well behaved when given commands. I'm guessing that he just needs some attention.

I expect his dad probably has to work a lot if he's making convenience store wages. He was jazzed about the food and happy to know another shipment was coming in six weeks. This first order had three 30 lbs bags of grain free food. The next will have two bags and I'll keep sending two bags a month for a while. Steve was a super active guy and I hope that this food helps him put on a little bit of weight.

I'll totally accept some. It's my deal but if others want to contribute I am happy to let you! I am buying him premium food. His first shipment was about $77 because I got a buy one, get one deal for the first bag and then bought another bag, too. Future shipments will run about $60 a month give or take. Venmo is @reamarides, paypal is sfcootz@gmail.com. I am trying to send enough for Steve and the other dog.
