Memorial weekend would put it the weekend after our tentative dates for our local ADV "Barlow or Bust 2019" Rally dates, so that'd be a good enough time for me!

You know what they say, "every vote counts". I just pushed June 6-9 ahead.
I'll be gone riding in Utah for the first 2 weeks in May and need at least a few weeks between events to keep my wife from giving me the stink eye.
It was last years date that kept me from going because it landed on Mothers Day. I learned my lesson in the past about that one.

Fairground folks are back in the office! I'll find out if there are any scheduling conflicts with our dates that are up for a vote later next week.

The lady I spoke with today said that she'll also ask about insurance for us to use the track. We would need to have folks willing to cough up money for the right to play on it.

She also said that there are two watering holes in town, one at "The Station" and one at Waylands. :freaky

alright, clue in the new guy. What is a rally comprised of? Is it like the Gambler where you buy a 5 dollar bike and try to transverse the Owyhee ?

This is a farm rules rally. Bring your own stuff and be ready to take care of yourself. We stay at the modoc county fairgrounds and go out in day rides with folks who share our interest in ride choice. And some folks just sit and drink and shoot the shit with friends. All you have to pay is your camping fees.

    FWIW...

The livestock pens are between where we camp and the MX track, on fairgrounds property.
Just past the showers and the 1/8 mile dirt oval.

Don't remember banjo's from last year...

… but SCOTS would be good relevant music.

Voted for the June dates, but participation dependent upon river rafting permit lottery results, most of which are announced later this month.

Two days left and June 6-9 is winning.

Edit: discussions for use of the oval and MX tracks will commence next week.
