@Sfcootz you might want to contact @Scott_PDX and ax him to add Cedarville to the PNW calendar.

    Things are filling in quick.

I am working on the packing list.
Not sure if I am going to bike down from Portlandia
    Or truck it down.
Or trailer 2 bikes down, one for the MX track and one for the other riding

In. Riding a bike in Cedarville this time. I am very much looking forward to this one. :beer

Odds are good that I will trailer the Mighty KLR up from Auburn on either Wednesday night or Thursday morning.

Very tempting, except there's too much snow on the ground.
I'm supposed to do some training during that time, but I'm keeping this event on my radar in case it falls through.

I guess Im curious. There are 100's of thousands of acres of dirt roads and sand and rocks etc surrounding Cedarville.
So a person would need a dirt training area at the fairground? Just curious.

The premise of the talks last year were to get the OK from the fairgrounds folks to use the old MX track for training purposes.
It is right at the fairgrounds and could certainly be used to let anyone try any sized bike on the track. This would be to practice skills on tighter rougher terrain in a closed controlled location. Of course the discussion also got around to "timed laps" for evening fire pit bragging rights. :augie
I'm presuming it comes down to a matter of liability and probably insurance. :dunno

Some also said they would like to get out on the oval track. Probably less likely than the MX.

I would totally bring my 300 KTM if either track could be utilized, the oval track looks fast and fun. DR650 and KTM would both have to come along .
