I noted today that the weekend has been chosen for the 2005 ride. I've attended this event the last 3 years; It's hosted by good people and is alot of fun!

The 02 & 03 events were at Rock Dam Campground near Black river falls. LOTS of sand and ATV's around. The place this past year wasn't quite as challenging -not as much sand-! Little bit more of a remote area though. There's usually around 50 bikes at the event. It just a get-together "for fun" :1drink as much as anything...

The guys that put on the event don't promise anything "and they deliver" :rofl

    I've heard that somewhere :)

Yeah, Black River Falls is alll sand. Pretty fun place. There is a sweet looking dirt track weaving through the trees just off the highway North of the BRF exit. have you ever seen that? Looks awsome. i am wondering if it is the one in this pic...

Thanks for the post, Joe! The website is not completely updated yet, but will be soon. We're gonna use Yahoo Groups to allow for more direct communication between Enduraiders. Hopefully it will save me some time sorting through emails as well.

I hope we can do more of the trials this year to make it a bit more challenging. A lot of rain would be cool. Plus Jon, Nick, and I are gonna scout out some more connections to the north and south.

I've updated the Enduraid website with the campground reservation information. Plus we're already getting a good supply of door prizes lined up.

Now all we need is spring. :)

Great! I was thinking about bringing my trials bike along just for fun. Now I know I will.

For you guys considering the N.E. Iowa gravel ride. If you can make through Enduraid, my ride will be a piece of cake.

I meant trails. :) The Enduraid is for street legal dual sports. The trials bike would be perfect for some of the riding games though. You'd be a ringer!

Yea, I know. Us trials guys just love it when we see someone accidently type trials, instead of trails.

But, I really was thinking about bringing the Beta as campground bike.

The Beta would be fun to have around. Of course everybody's going to want to try it out . . .

That's fine, we need to get more people interested in trials. All you guys up north, are going to the world round in Duluth, right?

World Trials Round at Spririt Mountain Ski Resort in Duluth, June 4th and 5th. The 25 best trials riders in the world competing in our backyard, for the only N. American appearance. There's usually only two or three Americans who compete, because these guys kick our ass.

My guess is it won't be held around here again for many years to come. This is the third time in four years, that the Upper Midwest Trials Association has hosted the event and I think they are getting burned out.

It doesn't matter if your into trials or not. If you like motorcycling, this is a must see. These riders can do things that you'd swear were impossible. Also a cool international flair, with all the Italian, Spanish, Japanise and the Queens english being spoken.
