Just completed this little adventure. All I can say is that it was the most overwhelming trip I've ever undertaken--physically, emotionally and spiritually. I'm a pretty simple guy and accustomed to independent travel in third world countriues. But these guys really do it right. You'd never get this exposure on your own. See http://picasaweb.google.com/KimARieck/EnduroIndia2008 for my pix and http://enduroindia.com/home.htm for more info. The pix will get better as I work my way through the 16 hours of video I took and pull off the best screen grabs. I'll be doing EnduroHimalaya in '09.

Hey KimR, .. nice set of pics there! .. I'm glad you enjoyed India :)

I'm from India (Bangalore, and now staying in Pune)..

I saw the pic of Jog falls. Not much water at this time. However between June and October, the western ghats are all green with the monsoon rains pouring in.. The hills put on their best colours..

If you plan to come here next and travel south India again, I suggest you do it between June and Oct/Nov. You'll face a lot of rain but trust me, you won't regret it all your life.

Some more pics from my albums:

Absolutely spectacular! :eek1 I wish you had ulta-high res pictures because there is some front page material there. I'll have to e-mail for route information should I ever ride India. That Munnar album looks like heaven on earth.
