Hey Dyno, how did you and Todd make out on your long way around tour? I heard there were Freakin tornados out your way.

yep there were. Luckily, we were hiding in Muskoka. :D

There's a big bike eating snapping turtle sitting in the middle of Kushbog Rd. You do not want to meet him!:eek1

    Other items of note:

There is a tropical rainforest hiding south of Crystal Lake, along with some really nice snowmobile trails.

The screaming heads place is still there.

There is a really wicked 4th gear wheelie hump on Bobcaygeon road north of Minden.

The water is really deep exiting the tunnel under the expressway in Parry Sound.

There were 3 sporty bikes holding up a car on 518. They looked good doing it though.:lol3

I think there might have been some other things in there. Maybe Todd took some pics.

Then we came home. I mowed the part of the lawn that wasn't underwater. The end.

I think we were on it for awhile. It was dusty and not too exciting, so we jumped on 518. Ahh, that's better! OOOOOH, look at the shiny squids! Why is the compact car tailgating them? Pesky cars. Then off on the Nippising rd, over to Midlothian, Lose Todd, find Todd, Lose Todd's vent hose, go to Magnatawan, wander around, wave to the Harley's gathered at the end of Tally Ho rd, then down to Parry Sound, where the tail end of the Sequin is really muddy and ripped up, and the bridge going under the highway has water up to the front fender on the east side.

An excellent event Ron. PS-Rage and I rode north to Pembroke then west to Matawa on Sun. We headed through Quebec on Mon and unfortunately arrived home Mon evening :cry.

We strongly suggest riding to Tamiskaming from Matawa if you ever get a chance. Also the ride through Herman ON to Barry's Bay is gonna be a do-over it was that AWESOME!

Thanks to Peter for a great place to stay, eat, and consume beverages!

Hardly saw KTMmike and only met Kahoon on my way out!

Had a good ride back to MTL with Ed, we took the backroads through Desert Lake, where we had RallyRaid in 2009.
Keeping my eye out for the next Ontario meet-up!

Here's a few more photos! I've also put some on the Motojournalism blog, and the rest on Flickr

Great job on the old school photos Anton. Hope to see you out west someday so I can offer you a back yard view on Manitoba.
