I don't see how it's relates to the co-vir. Is your hometown infected?

Not Tacoma specifically, but here in WA state we have the largest number of COVID cases and 10 deaths just north in Kirkland and Snohomish. I assume the title is ironic rather than paranoid.

Nice @Catastrophic Failure! Myself and several others will be a few days behind you. We start this coming Monday the 9th.
Looking forward to following along until we’re out in the thick of it. Not going all the way to Denio though, envious of that.
Oh, and when you get to Denio, ask the bartender if she’s ever going to mail my tent poles to me :lol3 :lol3

Great thread title. Keep the knobby side down.

The initial 30 miles heading North out of Yuma is firm and fast. There were a few soft sections, but no deep sand.

Down in the canyons there were very few obstacles to navigate around.

We rolled on past the Colorado River, and over Indian Pass.

Again, not really much sand or soft areas here this time of year?

We rode about 10 miles through the desert - free riding down and through small washes, searching for a route to Glamis. CA. sand toy capital of the world! Lots of fun here :D

    IMG_5214.jpg

We eventually pushed out to some sandy roads which were on our maps.

    Up and over.

In Glamis, we had lunch at NASCAR great Greg Biffles Sandbox - this monster Shop/Toy Box is where hundreds of his moto friends have come over the years to run Greg's custom built 250 H.P. Razors. :clap:clap:clap

The Glamis Dunes are approximately 7 miles x 25 miles, and Greg has the machines to rail in the sand.

If you are looking to purchase a top of the line Side by Side - this is the place to come, and the man to see!

Thank you again for the hospitality Sir!

Hope you can join our next ADV ride - we have a bike for you!:photog:photog:photog

We finished day one with a loop of the Mule Mountains. This hour long rip provided great views on fast gravel.
